Meet Dr. Vinita Srivastava (Dr. V.):
Vinita Srivastava, MBBS, MD, has been a resident of Greenville South Carolina for the last thirty years, and originally from Hyderabad, India.
She is by profession a physician and more specifically an Internist and Sleep specialist. She completed her residency program at University of Illinois, Chicago, and became the Chief Residency at Greenville Hospital System.
Dr. Srivastava is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Sleep Medicine, she is the Medical Director, co-owner and practices at Peace Medical Center, Greenville South Carolina.
She is inspired by the connection she makes with her patients, and believes lifestyle, habits, attitude, happiness, and well-being impact our health.
Dr. Srivastava has participated in research projects that focus on lifestyle and chronic medical issues.
Dr. Vinita has a love of life and has a variety of interests.
She loves to cook, listening to music, dancing, and gardening.
Dr. Vinita is excited to be working with different charities and associations to empower women and improve their chances of success with better education and mentorship. She believes happiness is the ultimate currency and in sharing is caring philosophy.

Meet Dr. Naveen Saxena:
Dr. Naveen Saxena is an established Cardiologist and Internist with over 35 years of experience in the practice of medicine, patient care, and research.
He is well regarded in the Greenville Community, both as a physician and a researcher, and has a comprehensive medical educational background. He is the co-owner and practices at Peace Medical Center, Greenville South Carolina
Dr. Saxena has trained at Kings College Hospital, St Bartholomew’s Hospital and Guys Hospital in London, UK after his medical schooling in Hyderabad, India. He completed his residency at St Louis University and Fellowship in Cardiology from Tulane Medical school. Though his priority is clinical care and physician patient relationship, he has researched in the field of cardiology and presented in multiple formats at national conferences on topics pertaining to cardiac issues in a community practice.
Dr. Saxena is board certified in Cardiology and has been honored with a fellowship with the American College of Cardiology.
He is passionate about Lifestyle interventions that can cause dramatic improvements in health outcomes both as primary (before diagnosis – prevention) and secondary (after diagnosis – disease) interventions. He actively teaches patients and students and was awarded the Owl Club Award for Best Teacher at Tulane University.
Dr Saxena has travelled extensively and is a connoisseur of good food and good music, especially the 1970s Indian genre.
A devoted family man, husband, and a father of two daughters, he is humorous and enjoys comedy, and he is happiest in the company of his friends and family.
He was inspired and is greatly affected by the hard work and optimistic spirit of his family, especially his mother. As a child of a single parent household, Dr. Saxena understands the vital role of the single mother and the inequalities faced by them, as he is involved in charities that prioritize and empower disadvantaged school children and single mothers.

Meet Dr. Nomita Josh:
Dr. Nomita Joshi, MD is a Internal Medicine Specialist practicing with Peace Medical Center for over 17 years now.
She graduated from MLB Medical College in Jhansi, India and did training at Brooklyn Medical Hospital in Brooklynn, New York. She is very interested in the fields of Diabetes, Hypertension and Depression. As most of her patients will tell you, Dr Joshi is a caring, empathetic doctor, loves listening to people, and will provide the best medical care she can. Her focus on quality care and ensuring a healthy lifestyle for each patient is a key component to her success.
Outside of Peace Medical, Dr. Joshi enjoys visiting historical places with her husband, as well as spending time with her son and 2 grandchildren. When not with her family, Dr Joshi will take in a nice book to read, cook delicious food and takes pride in her garden.
Meet Dr. Govind Rughani:
Dr. Govind Rughani, MD is a Internal Medicine Specialist practicing for over 31 years, of which 16 years have been with Peace Medical Center.
He graduated from Madras Medical College and Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, in Guindy, India and graduated with honors in 1977.
He believes that prevention is key for good cardiovascular and general health as well as teaches his patients to practice healthy lifestyles. When a patient asks him how to lose weight, besides counseling them on what foods to eat and which ones to avoid he always tells them, “Eat less and walk more”.
Dr. Rughani is very dedicated to his wife and his two adult sons, he believes that family is a pillar of life.
He enjoys traveling, hiking, taking 2 to 3 mile walks as much as possible, the country and the beach and he prefers to stay away from busy cities.
Meet Dr. Nitin Gaikwad:
Dr. Gaikwad is originally from Mumbai, India and graduated from Wilson College, Mumbai, India, and from Christian Med Coll-Madras U-Vellore medical school in 1983.
He is a Board-Certified Physician, focusing in Preventive and Holistic Medicine practices with over 30 years of experience in the medical field.
Dr. Gaikwad joined Peace Medical Center about 4 years ago where he practices Internal medicine and Sleep Medicine.
When he is not attending to his patients and medical duties, Dr. Gaikwad enjoys travelling, gardening, reading, and spending quality time with his wife and adult children.
He considers himself as a “One of a Kind” just like everyone one else.
Meet Kelly Robertson, Clinical Manager:
Kelly has been with Peace Medical Center since 2015 with various departmental management experience.
If you are a patient of PMC you have likely seen or spoken to her over the years. She really enjoys her time with the patients as PMC is focused on their care.
She was born and raised in Winston Salem, NC and went to North Carolina University in Raleigh, NC, and is a proud avid Wolfpack fan even now as she is a resident of South Carolina since 2010!
Kelly loves the scenery of the Greenville area, the community and all the different culinary ventures the area offers, “Finding a food truck along my travels is the best!”
She’s a mother of 1, a son, they are both sports fanatics, they love baseball, football and basketball and try to catch one of the local games whenever they can.
Kelly loves to visit the mountains and explore them in her down time.
