Cryotherapy

Cryotherapy is a common treatment that  has been used over the years to treat lesions, warts, skin tags and other skin growths
Cryotherapy involves using an extreme cold liquid, which freezes and kills the diseased area of the skin

Following the cryotherapy appointment, the treated area of your skin may become red and blister, this is normal,
and a scab will then form over the next 1 – 3 weeks.
When you have this procedure done you may experience minor pain 1 – 3 days following cryotherapy, this is common and no need to be concerned but you can always call Peace Medical Center and speak with your provider if you have any questions or concerns.

Cryotherapy is available at our Greenville and Simpsonville locations

Most insurance companies will cover cryotherapy as well, please consult your insurance plan for more information.
If you do not have health insurance, Peace Medical Center offers discounted patient pay pricing as well through SmartCare.
